Scenario: Your caseload just increased by 1- you have a new male student, age 17, that will be starting 11th grade. He has a learning disability in Reading, his current standard Reading fluency score is 80. It was noted in his last IEP that he is a visual learner who has difficulty reading and expressing his ideas on paper. What types of measurable goals and objectives should you create for this student? What are some age appropriate modifications/accomodations might you make for this student?

Please blog with your partner -be sure to include the measurable goals and objectives your group designed, how they link to the common core, and what types of modifications/accomodations would be appropriate for this student.
